Our approach
How we plan a journey
Galardon is based in Mendoza and plans private journeys through Argentina for couples, families and small groups. The same ownership group runs 88 Locos, an Argentine wine label, which is why the wine side of these journeys is not outsourced. We take on a limited number of journeys a year, because the model only works if the same small team can walk every route and answer the phone at midnight.

What a private journey actually buys you
Six things that separate a Galardon journey from an itinerary assembled at a desk in another country.
One Travel Director, start to finish
The same person meets your flight, sits at the table and handles the winery that just changed its hours. Not a different local rep in every city.
We buy wine here year round
The same ownership group runs 88 Locos, an Argentine label sourcing across Mendoza. Those are working relationships, not a booking made on your behalf.
Michelin kitchens, and the parrilla
Azafrán and Zonda in Mendoza, Don Julio in Buenos Aires, and a private asador cooking in the hotel garden on your first night.
Regional flights, never the long drive
Mendoza to Salta is eighteen hours by road. We fly it, and time the departures so a travel day still leaves you an afternoon.
Free days written into the route
At least one day in every region with nothing scheduled. They are in the itinerary from the start, not what is left when the plan overruns.
Your car, your guide, your pace
No shared vehicles and no fixed departure dates. If lunch runs to four hours because the conversation is good, it runs to four hours.
In their words
Guest quotes go here once we have them in writing.
A proposal, not a package
Nothing is priced until we know the month, the party size and how you like to travel. The first reply is a draft route with named hotels and wineries, not a brochure.
