Privacy policy

We ask for very little, we do not sell it, and we do not track you around the internet. This page says exactly what we hold and who else sees it.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry we collect the name, email address, party size, travel dates and message you type into the form.

If you request a booking we also keep the journey you chose, the number of travelers, any options you selected, your phone number if you give one, and the reference and status of the booking itself.

We never collect or store your card details. Payments are taken by Stripe on their own systems; we see only whether a payment succeeded and the reference it relates to.

Why we hold it

Solely to reply to you and to prepare a travel proposal. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of companies to run the site, and they see only what their job requires: Vercel hosts it, Neon stores the bookings database, Stripe processes payments, Resend sends our email, and Cloudflare handles the domain. We do not sell your information to anyone, for any purpose.

If you go on to book, we share only what is necessary with the hotels, guides and airlines in your itinerary so they can provide the service.

Hunting and fishing enquiries

Hunting and fishing trips are booked through a specialist agency rather than by us. If you ask about one, we pass your name, contact details and what you told us about the trip to that agency so they can reply to you directly. We ask you to tick a box first, because we are not willing to hand your details to another company without you saying so. If you would rather we did not, call or email us and we will simply put you in touch ourselves.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Our host records standard server request logs for security and reliability.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into a booking are kept while there is a realistic prospect of travel, and then deleted. Booking records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

Write to hello@galardontours.com at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and we will act on it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you live in a state with its own privacy law, such as California, Colorado, Virginia or Texas, those laws give you these rights explicitly, along with the right to know whether we sell or share your personal information. We do not, and we have never done so.

Our email goes only to people who have asked us for something. If we ever start a newsletter it will be opt-in, and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
